As a financial services cooperative, your Desjardins caisse has objectives that make it very different from other financial institutions:

  • Providing, in the best possible conditions, the financial advice and services that members need to achieve and sustain financial wellness
  • Contributing to the cooperative, economic and financial education of members, or providing them with a way to make informed decisions
  • Promoting and supporting community development

Involvement in the community

The caisse understands the challenges and issues facing its members. With their support, it can provide its fellow citizens with valuable help regarding initiatives aimed at common betterment and the advancement of society.

General meetings
and financial results

As a caisse member, you can express your point of view by taking part in the Annual General Meeting and elect the people who will represent you on the Board of Directors.

Member dividends

Member dividends are a reflection of our cooperative difference, and one of the advantages of being a caisse member. Member dividends are our way of recognizing our members’ commitment.

Young Intern Director Program

The Young Intern Director Program gives young people 18 to 30 the chance to sit on a caisse Board of Directors to represent members of their community and contribute to caisse performance.

CRÉAVENIR

The program provides young entrepreneurs who want to start their own business or who have a business that’s less than 3 years old with coaching, mentoring and financial aid in the form of loans and grants.
